I was born May 30, 1964, in Berlin, Germany. My dad was in the U.S. Army at the time, and I was born on a military post, so I've always been an American citizen.

My Family
I am married to Clifton Dowell and have two sons, Jack and Will.
My mom and dad are Jane and Del O'Roark. I have two brothers, De (who's older) and Doug (who's younger). De's a lawyer and Doug's a teacher.
My wonderful parents-in-law are Jack and Melvene Dowell. I have three very fabulous sisters-in-law, Danni, Kim and Jessica. I have one fabulous brother-in-law, Eric. I have four divine nieces (Hannah, Kirsten, Elizabeth and Gabrielle) and one rockin' nephew (Devin).

Books: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and To Kill a Mockingbird are the big favorites.
